The Investigation On The Current Situation Of Private Youth Musical Tuitions In Xushui County

Nowadays, a variety of private music tuition, music studios and musical education centre are developing speedily across the country. They provide great opportunities to children loving music to get access to Art. However with achievements they have made, several issues are raised along with their speedy development. Therefore, through investigating main private music tuitions which conduct Early-years Musical Education(EME) in Xushui County, this study aims to discover specific problems appearing in their process of growing, and try to put forward pragmatic solutions. The results of this research can provide references for a sound development of private music tuitions in Xushui County in theory.The dissertation consists of four chapters. The first is an introduction which depicts the rationale of the whole study. The first chapter states the literature review on musical education and a description of the targeting context--- private music tuitions in Xushui County. The second chapter discusses the methodology which is used to examine administration, teachers’ proficiency, teaching methods and teaching materials in these private music tuitions. The results are discussed in chapter third and a comparison is made between private music tuitions in Xushui County and those of in Beijing. The implication of the present research is discussed in the last chapter.
