Patriotism is the fine tradition of our country, and the spiritual pillar of the united struggle of the people of all ethnic groups. It’s always an important task for our country to teach people especially the young patriotism. In recent years, with the development of the society, the patriotism education is facing some problems and challenges, so it seems very urgent to deepen the patriotic education. History is one of the important carrier to deepen the patriotic education, and the history educators are also continuously exploring and reforming the teaching ways and implementations, gratifying achievements have been obtained but still there exists some problems. The text has discussed the implementation strategy of patriotism education under the background of the new curriculum from four aspects through using the relevant theories of pedagogy, psychology, and combining the author’s personal teaching experience.The first part mainly expounds the basic connotation of patriotism education, the importance of patriotism education and the relationship between the patriotism and the history teaching. The meaning of patriotism education is reflected in individual, society and nationality. From the superiority of patriotism, we can know the relationship between patriotism and history teaching.The second part takes the "ordinary high school history curriculum standard(experiment)" as the basis, analyses the problems existing in the modern high school Yuelu edition history content and gives some suggestions to improve the problems. As for the shortage of teaching material, it shows the backwardness and simplification. In practice, the insufficient mainly has three points. The practice loses sight of the function of emotion education in history. And when teaching patriotism, it lacks the cognitive level and history background. Also, there are some problems in evaluation.The third part is the focus of this article, on the basis of content analysis of the text, the author put forward some relevant teaching strategies from cognition, emotion, will, behavior and her own teaching experiences. The teaching strategy of cognition involves matching strategy in cognition and form. The emotion strategy has situational teaching and affection showing. In will, it has cognitive conflict, such as example education and practice training.
