The main purpose of this study is to understand the Van Hiele level of thinking status of students of grade seven commonly used motion graphics geometric transformation. Division of students to specific performance levels of researchers using Van Hiele level of thinking on motion graphics used geometry transform three aspects respectively. To study the establishment of an independent "seventh graders motion graphics used geometry transform Van Hiele level thinking test problem" as a research tool, the test using the formula of Fra Nan Gen for the reliability coefficient of internal consistency test. Two classes of the study object of study from Shanghai in a special administrative region of a private school students(83) and presence(72)students in two classes of the administrative region of a public school, a total of 155 students for all samples. The results of the study are as follows:1. The establishment of "specific performance" students’ learning of motion graphics concepts in Van Hiele level of thinking on the table;2. To test the number in the answer of the level accounted for the total number of ratio exceeds 75% to reach the standard level of the level of thinking, in graphics translation part, test level 3 correct number is 76.1% of the total number, seventh grade students in the mastery of the graphics translation concept reached the third level of the Van Hiele level of thinking;3. To test in the number of correct answers of the level accounted for the total number of ratio exceeds 75% to reach the standard level of the level of thinking, in the rotating part of the graphics, test level 3 correct number is 75.2% of the total number, seventh grade students in the grasp of the concept of graph rotation reached the third level of the Van Hiele level of thinking;4. To test in the number of correct answers of the level accounted for the total number of ratio exceeds 75% to reach the standard level of the level of thinking,graphic folded part, test level 3 correct number is 75.8% of the total number, seventhgrade students in graphics double fold concept master reached the third level of the Van Hiele level of thinking;On the basis of the above research, put forward the following suggestions: in textbook design, you should consider the students’ level of geometric thinking development. According to the Van Hiele level of thinking theory of compiling teaching materials to match the development of students’ thinking level, especially from the non formal interpretation to the interpretation of the guide; similarly, on the teachers’ teaching activities, for students generally reached the level of thinking level can more focused to the transition to the next did not reach the level of thinking do more guidance.
