In order to build up the ranks of kindergarten teachers,the National Education Ministry and the Treasury have been carrying out the National Training Scheme of Kindergarten Teachers since 2011.Kindergarten Transfer Teacher Training Program in Hunan, as one of the sub-items, is a job-adaptation training for kindergarten transfer teachers.Over ten thousands of transfer teachers have participated in the past four years.In order to know if the program achieves its expectation goal,and how much it improves the kindergarten transfer teachers’ professional development, a deep research on the effect of kindergarten transfer teacher training becomes a urgent need.The researcher chose four training institutions which undertook the Kindergarten Transfer Teacher Training Program in Hunan,and conducted field investigation into their training implementation.Based on the the Effect Evaluation of National Training Scheme of Kindergarten Teachers--Trainees Questionnaire(Item 2:Transfer Teacher Training Program Questionnaire),which was constructed by the Teacher Work Department of National Education Ministry,the researcher formed a formal questionnaire after modification and reliability and validity test, distributed among the kindergarten transfer teachers in the four institutions,and also talked to some of them and their directors in kindergartens,so as to comprehend the training effect and its influencing factors,then finally put up with some suggestions on enhancing the effect of kindergarten transfer teacher training in Hunan.The research results shows that:1.Kindergarten transfer teachers have low sense of occupation identification,backward preschool education concept and weak professional knowledge and ability.According to their developmental characteristics and need,the training program in Hunan offers courses in three modules:professional concept and morality,professional knowledge and professional ability,and applies multiple training methods,which are well-directed.2.The effects of Kindergarten Transfer Teacher Training Program in Hunan are obvious:the training process basically assures its quality,with which most of trainees are satisfied;the trainees ’ concepts are updated,and their knowledge on children development and ability of game organization are reaped most;the trainees ’ behaviors of organization and arrangement for children’ one-day life have been improved most obviously;the trainees become more adaptable to their jobs,which helps to enhance the management effectiveness in kindergarten.3.The effect of kindergarten transfer teacher training in Hunan is influenced by trainee individuals,training process and training achievement transformation atmosphere in kindergarten.4.There exist some inadequacies in the trainee selection of Kindergarten Transfer Teacher Training Program in Hunan:the description of the targeted trainee is indistinct;The top-down allocation of training quotas lacks of adequate consideration for the specific conditions among kindergarten staff; the training rights of school-attached kindergarten teachers are mastered by the school directors; the checkup of the trainees’ qualification is not strict.The researcher comes up with some suggestions on enhancing the effect of kindergarten transfer teacher training in Hunan:The process of trainee selection should be more scientific;Designing the training course project should based on local conditions and trainees’ needs;The process of kindergarten transfer teacher training should be improved,including the course arrangement,expert team;training forms and learning resources;The kindergarten should strengthen the support to transfer teachers,and create a favorable atmosphere for training transfer.
