High school ideological and political course itself contains many abstract thought and theory, and if the test of classroom teaching, the classroom atmosphere is bound to lose one’s vitality, students cannot learn knowledge, this often leads to poor teaching effect. "Cultural life" is a compulsory module added. There is no mature experience in teaching and the course content covers widely, so only the pursuit of exam oriented and ignoring the students’ aesthetic ability development of the phenomenon is inevitable in the process of teaching. Such teaching already hindered the all-round development of students, and contrary to the original intention of setting "cultural life" curriculum.On the one hand, "Cultural life" curriculum itself contains the beauty and the knowledge logic not too rigidly adheres to the subject. Besides, it focuses on students’ emotion experience and the life experience. On the other hand, Aesthetic education can arouse students’ aesthetic interest and satisfy their aesthetic needs. Students can improve the learning pleasure, effectiveness and creativity in beautiful enjoyment. So we should take aesthetic education and "cultural life" teaching combined. Try to excavate aesthetic resources in our daily life, and find the aesthetic factors in the curriculum and create the aesthetic atmosphere in teaching. Enable the students to acquire political knowledge at the same time, can also be influenced by beauty, so that is more conducive to the realization of the ideal teaching effect.Aesthetic education has the features such as vividness, sensibility and freedom, while the "cultural life" course has characteristics of thought, life, aesthetic etc. By analyzing the relationship between aesthetic education and "cultural life" teaching, Such as "cultural life" teaching needs the guidance of aesthetic education, and aesthetic education can extend the space of "cultural life" teaching, etc. It will come very naturally to the aesthetic education and "cultural life" teaching combined. And, based on the current aesthetic education in the "cultural life" teaching application problems and the reasons, I put forward the corresponding countermeasure analysis. Such as in the "cultural life" teaching should pay attention to the cultivation of aesthetic sentiment, strengthen the training of aesthetic ability and create the beauty of the teaching process. And the countermeasure on the basis of the close combination of teaching examples, the aesthetic education is applied to the "cultural life" teaching.
