Objective:This study observed the change of basketball players speed endurance when they have a repeated sprint training in a hypoxic environment, intends to evaluate the change of the basketball players speed endurance after the hypoxia repeated sprint training through the methods of a regular field testing and a laboratory testing, and attempts to provide a theoretical basis for the application of the hypoxia repeated sprint training in basketball sport.Methods:16 basketball players were assigned into an experimental group (Tr N=8) and a control-group(Con N=8). The experimental group had the repeated hypoxia sprint training with anaerobic power bicycles under an simulated hypoxia environment at the altitude of 3000 meters for 4 weeks, twice a week, while the control group had the training with anaerobic power bicycles under a normoxia environment. Before and after the four-week-long training, two groups of subjects had several groups of variable pitch shuttle run testing and Wingate testing, then they were analyzed by their changes in blood lactic acid and heart rate after several groups of variable pitch shuttle run.Results:Before and after the four-week-long training, the repeated sprint run performance of the two groups improved obviously (Tr:98.28± 5.12s VS 93.21±4.21s, P<0.05; Con:98.59±3.94s VS 94.12±5.00s, P<0.05), but there is no significant difference in the shuttle run performance between the two groups (93.2±4.21s VS 94.12±5.00s p>0.05). The relative maximum power(W/kg):14.93±1.62 VS 15.75±1.67, p<0.05) and the relative average power(W/kg):7.68±0.77 VS 7.99±0.84, p<0.05) of the experimental group had a significant improvement, while the control group had no significant change (p>0.05). There is no significant change of the relative maximum power and the relative average power between the two groups.Conclusion:Repeated sprint training can improve basketball players speed endurance.4 weeks hypoxia repeatedly the sprint training can effectively improve the basketball athlete body lactic acid removal ability, the ability of the aerobic will help athletes better technology and tactics level in the game.
