The Xishan Qin family has maintained for more than 400 years. It is a large family in the south of the Yangtze delta during the Ming and Qing dynasty. Their ancestor is the famous poet Qin Guan from South Song dynasty. From 1241 to 1250 AD, the 11th son of Qin Guan, whose name is Qin Weizhen, married to Wuxi Hudai Wang Family, and became the ancestor of Xishan Qin Family. Since then, the history of Qin Family began.Xishan Qin family is a typical family who bypassed the imperial examination to be a culture aristocratic family. Qin Family has many talented people, passing into later generations. During the Ming and Qing dynasty, the prime time of the family came" three JieYuan of six division, Nine Jinshi in one exam". Since 1459 AD, after 6th son of Qin Weizhen, named Qin Kui, won the imperial examinations. During Ming and Qing dynasty, there were 34 Jin Shi and 77 Ju Ren, among them 13 ordered the academician, got a job in the academician courtyard, and 3 people get first number three Tan Hua. Qin Family paid more attention to the record of poetry, altogether they collected 18 volumes poet set, and 14 volumes paper set, while paper set has 123 authors and poet set has 242 authors.A feudal family, who was able to maintain for more than 400 years, must has its reason. In recent years, there are many research of Xishan Qin Family, but they had ignored research for women. Therefore, in order to better understand the Wuxi Qin Family’s living conditions in Ming and Qing dynasty and the reasons of its prosperity, I decided to research and analyze women’s lives in Xishan Qin Family, uncovering Qin Nianqiao, Qiu LingXian, and Qin Senyuan’s life, and analysis of the impact of the family from women. The first part of this article is written on women’s education problem in Qin Family. In the Ming and Qing dynasty, with the development of society and culture, they no longer think "women should have no knowledge", they began to show certain enlightened consciousness of women’s education. Xishan Qin Family is the typical representative of this kind of family. On the one hand, women in the Qin Family, grew up under the influence of their fathers, compared to education opportunities they had got before Ming and Qing dynasty, the chances have increased significantly. Women in the family, growing up in the house being fond of literature since childhood, they have got good traditional culture education. On the other hand, through marriage, women in Qin Family tend to be married to the family with similar social status. As their husbands tended to be scholars, they would take responsibilities on their wives’ education. Moreover, the wife and husband respond to each other in literary. The second part is marriage situation of Qin family. Marriage is especially important in the ancient system, a part of the family of marriage is to maintain its benefit. This article analyzes the reasons of marriage from three aspects, and collates Xishan Qin Family marriage with other aristocratic family in the Ming and Qing dynasty. Through marriages, Qin Family hope they can join other culture family at that time, to ensure the tradition of family culture passing on to following generations. The third part is women’s social life in Qin Family. Women grew up under the influence of fathers in Qin Family, and they have the profound literary accomplishments, made adequate preparation for its literary creation. In the 17th century, they had formed a group of women poets, through frequently communication with other family’s women, the group built poetry club. Moreover, their works mainly focused on topics friends, travel, and concerned for the country and current affairs. The fourth part analyzes the influence made by the women in Qin Family. Xishan Qin Family maintained for more than 400 years in the Ming and Qing dynasty, with the efforts of the family men, but at the same time family women, who play a very important role as well. The influences of women in the family come in two ways. One is children’s education, because of the social division of labor, family women pay more responsibility to children’s education. Women in Qin Family with profound cultural knowledge have played a very important role since their children’s childhood. The other is the influence on the family tradition and fame. Under the background of the feudal society at that time, filial daughter and heroine can still carry forward to the family fame, and can bring material reward and spiritual motivation into the family, which has a certain influence to the family. So we can’t emphasis more on the influence of women to the family.
