| This research focuses on a ’special’ kind of network fandom---BL fiction fandom.BL fiction tells a love story between two males. its writers and readers are mostly heterosexual women.The research uses text analysis, literature research and in-depth interview methods to discuss whether BL fiction fans are practitioners of feminism or supporters of gay politics.Against the existing view which thinks the BL fiction fans are practitioners of feminism, this research argues:the feminism explanations of BL fandom are based on selective interpretation which is wronge,and repeat the discourse of binary opposition which doesn’t meet the contemporary feminism’s development.Meanwhile,by comparative analysis of BL’s and BG’s texts,fans’s views on these two kinds of fictions,the research finds that these female fans have a gender identity crisis.They realize the weak position of females in real life,hate the traditional female roles,but think that even in a fantasy world,no matter how hard the writers try to describe,the love between female and male can’t be equal and satisfying,which reflects the pessimistic attitude towards feminism.On the other hand,lots of BL ficiton fans show jealousy when the heroine is perfect in BG fictions.Thus,using feminism to explain the reason for these fans’love of BL fiction is improper. Scholars should not label these female fans as feminists.The BL fiction fans and the gay community are each other.The BL fictions’ description of homosexual love is completely different from the reality,and the wirters weaken the homosexual colour deliberately.In the cyberspace communication,these fans’attention are mainly focused on gay’s sexual behaviours,which is out of these females’ peep lust but not the concern about gay politics.Those gays who reads BL fictions generally regards it as an entertainment.The BL fiction is written for heterosexual females,but because it wears a ’homosexual love’coat,many narrative patterns cause gay community’s antipathy.some fans’’fu’(腐) psychology and behaviour have had negative effects on Teenagers’sexual psychology.Through which kind of strategy does the feminist interpretation succeed?First, selective interpretation.Second, the discourse of binary opposition.The interpretation virtually constructs the two binary discourse of male and female, traditional women and the new women.The former one impedes the development of feminism theory,and also is bad for feminists to get males’support.The latter one limites the gender expression of female.Why the BL fiction fans are imagined as practitioners of feminism? The Social gender order’s revolution facing great difficulty is the key reason. First, feminism theory lacks communication between both sexes. Until now, feminism is still mainly promoted by the female scholars,which is accouted for by the male and the feminists’ gender dependency.Second, at the social level, the ideas of contemporary feminism is not known by the mass, and the mass media and commercial’s combination makes the market become a strong discourse producer of gender oppression. This new discourse is mainly pushed by male culture and commercial culture.,which lacks the female consciousness as a subject. Meanwhile, the society doesn’t have enough mercy on the LGBT Groups. Though the feminists has included the group to their care range, they pay inadequate attention to them.Also,wheather the political alliance is feasible is still worth thinking about. There is still a long way to go if feminists want to achieve their political ambition which is’eliminating inequality in the gender field’... |
