With the continuous development and progress of modern society,men and women in the division of labor has long been different from the traditional role division of labor.The demand for men and women in the modern society has been changed.In terms of curriculum,textbooks,as the main carrier of curriculum knowledge are responsible for delivering knowledge,educational content and educational values.At the same time,textbooks are also the main vehicle for spreading knowledge and culture for children and adolescents.This article is based on the ideas of feminism and studies of the female characters in textbooks.From the perspective of research,this article mainly refers to the following ideas.First of all,it elaborates feminism's relevant ideas in education,such as gender and feminist curriculum research.The status and status of the roles are statistically analyzed followed by women in textbooks about shanghai edition textbook(trial version).The third is to sort out the main problems of female characters in textbooks,and then to propose strategies for enriching female roles and promoting gender equality.This article is mainly divided into four parts:The first part mainly introduces the main reasons for choosing the topic,the significance of research,the definition of related concepts,research at home and abroad,research methods,and innovations.The second part introduces the concept of feminist education.First,it briefly introduces the main connotations of feminism and its historical development.This paper expounds the main viewpoints of feminists of different schools on education in the trend of feminist education,and introduces the main focus of feminists in curriculum research.The third part is the analysis of the female characters in textbooks.After studying and summarizing the analysis framework of the predecessors,this paper combines the content of feminist education and curriculum research and puts forward the analysis framework of this article.Textbook texts and female gender roles related to female characters in textbooks,distribution of supporting roles for female characters in textbooks,types of female characters,age of female characters,clearly-namedcharacters,female characters in illustrations,author gender were statistically analyzed.In the fourth part,after analyzing the statistical status of female characters in textbooks,the author puts forward the problems in female characters and gives reasonable and effective suggestions.Research seeks to be truthful,accurate,meaningful to curriculum development,and promotes education and gender equity.The main research methods used in this paper are the literature method and the text analysis method.
