Career development means the course of individual lifelong development, all of life experience and activities related to occupation.To obtain the perfect career development, a suitable, job indispensable. Manland puts forwarded that should setting the occupation preparatory education courses start from low grade of school education.The occupation education of low grade in China known as the enlightenment education. Vocational enlightenment education based on career development orientation is not a simple occupation training or cultivate, also includes the broad adaptability required for career development.People with intellectual disabilities enjoy the equal right of career development with the normal people, mentally handicapped obtain employment can make them to be respected, to realize their own value. In order to make the people with intellectual disabilities get a job more successfully,mentally handicapped children should receive Vocational enlightenment education. Instruction effective or not directly related to the degree of knowledge students accepted, therefore, vocational enlightenment education of mentally retarded children should have appropriate teaching design system.This study based on career development orientation,to explore the theory of instructional design for vocational enlightenment education in mentally retarded children.First, to conceive the theory about instructional design, including the design basis, the design process and how to design each steps.Under the guidance of theory conceived,use the case study method,design a vocational enlightenment teaching scheme for the case, and the scheme is implemented.Through evaluate and reflect the teaching process and the teaching scheme to test theory conceived reasonable or not,and gain practical experience in instructional design,improve instructional design theory and ultimately build a theory framework about instructional design of Vocational Enlightening Educational in Mental retardation children based on Career Development Orientation, and provides practical examples of instructional design, to provide instructional design guidance for the future related education.This research draws the following conclusions:first, the vocational enlightenment education in mentally retarded children which based on career development orientation can improve the occupation quality of mentally retarded children,and can promote the learning of others adaptability;second,instructional design of Vocational Enlightening Educational in Mental retardation children based on Career Development Orientation make improve Professional competence as the focus of teaching content,while incorporating others adaptability;third,instructional design of Vocational Enlightening Educational in Mental retardation children based on Career Development Orientation should under the actual of career development of mentally retarded children to select teaching content and objectives;fourth, instructional design of Vocational Enlightening Educational in Mental retardation children based on Career Development Orientation should establish a link with the life of the case,with ecological features;Fifth, instructional design of Vocational Enlightening Educational in Mental retardation children based on Career Development Orientation should be constantly improved through formative assessment.Finally, the researcher summarizes the shortcomings of this study and the suggestions for future research.
