Objective: In areas such as politics, economy, society, culture rapid development today, for children’s health problem is to focus on the social from all walks of life, the mental health education is particularly valued. Pupils in early childhood game activities mainly oriented dominated by learning activities, including the level 2 as a transition period from junior to senior is extremely important. For line dance level are presented in this paper two elementary school students as the research object, for a term of line dance teaching, the two groups before and after the experiment elementary school students at the intermediate compares and analyses the mental health review for level two primary school students mental health education to provide practical guidance and theoretical basis for objective, enhanced level 2 primary school students mental health and enrich students’ emotional experience and cultural life, to promote extensive line dancing.Methods: through the literature material law from China hownet to collect associated with this article of literature line dancing, primary school students mental health and to the school library borrowing books; Interview method is this article related contents about the work in the line dance teacher and teaching in primary schools of the teachers and parents of students; Experimental method is based on 175 pupils in dance teaching experiment, and led by professor ri-chang zheng write the pupil rating scale of mental health, primary school students before and after the experiment of scale tests; Mathematical statistics is to use spss17.0 will test questionnaire, statistics and analysis.Results: in this paper, through the experiment of line dance teaching respectively before and after the experiment test, through mathematical statistics analysis: elementary experimental group in personality, social adaptation and mental health habits and behavior form four aspects score compared with the control group with significant difference(P﹤0.05), in the emotional aspects is very significant difference(P﹤0.01), on the scale always divide also has very significant difference(P﹤0.01).Conclusion: Conclusion: the line dance can effectively improve the elementary student mental health at the intermediate level.Through the line dance mental health intervention for primary school students at the intermediate experiments show that line dance can promote elementary school students at the intermediate in emotion, personality, social adaptation, develop good habits and behavior has statistical significance, in the students’ learning, moral character, special effect did not reach statistical significance. In grade three and grade four results show that the various indicators with consistency.
