The main characteristics of rural high school students are the weak knowledge foundation, the students do not have good learning methods and learning habits, lacking independent learning ability. In addition, rural students rarely participate in various activities out of class, they lack experience, are not good at expressing themselves, lack confidence in themselves. However, the problem-teaching mode relates to designing problems, put forward the problems, considering the problems, solving the problems through the teaching, to make students produce learning desire and motivation in the process of doubting and thinking. Compared with other teaching modes, problem-teaching mode is throughout the whole class with questions, which would be more in line with students’ cognitive law, would be "how to fish", rather than "delegate to fish". Therefore, this paper seeks to rural high school as the research object, to explore the application strategy of problem-teaching mode in rural high school, so as to improve the status of the students’ hating math, bad math learning.This thesis contains four parts altogether. The first part is to produce questions, introducing the background of the issues raised, elaborating the purpose and significance of the study, the research ideas and methods, literature review. The second part is to define the concept of problem-teaching mode, as well as problem-feasibility and necessity of teaching mode applied in rural high school, considering the feasibility problem-teaching mode and puts forward specific steps. The third part is for rural high schools, the application strategy and case design of problem-teaching mode, in which every aspect of problem-teaching mode is explained and assigned to the case study. The fourth part is the conclusion and post script, summary the positive impacts and the role of the problem-teaching mode.The innovation of this article is that as the situation of weak foundation for rural high school students in learning, problem-teaching mode need to be improved, we put forward the application strategy in rural high schools of problem-teaching mode and explain its three aspects and illustrate. Finally, we use a complete instructional design for problem-teaching mode to illustrate and validate the application strategy in rural high schools.
