As the lever of sports order, sports power is essential to sports survival and development. Sports order and security are responsible for the advence of sports enterprise, and sports order cann’t establish without sports power. Therefore, the society with run into turbulence, mess and destory. Violence, referees and doping will spread if sports go without power. As a consequence, the importance of sports power go without saying. However, Right is a double-edged sword, just as the British historian John Emerich Edward Dalberg-Acton put it "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely". Thus, the sports competition cann’tgo without power, and at the same time, supervision and limitation should also applied to power if it needs.This article will investigate sports and power, and it is made up of six chapters. Chapter one constitutes of four sections, it mainly introduces the background and value of the subject. The first section of Chapter one will introduces the basic concepts briefly, and the definition of sports right by China scholars. The second section will try to define sports right based on the results and claasify the different kinds of sports power. In a word, sports power is the power and influence on the object of right by the subject of power.Chapter Two will mostly explore the history and development of sports power, and the pre-conditions and necessary conditions for sports power. Chapter Three will investigate the significance and necessity of sports power from the angle of sports benefit and sports development. Chapter Four will focus on the source of sports power.Chapter Five will elaborate the basic characteristic of sports power and the sports organization. Chapter Six will summarize the Sports power alienation and its reason, and regulation method of Sports power meanwhile.
