The Research Of Fair Cognition Of National Scholarship For Graduate Student

From the fall semester in 2012, China established national scholarship for graduate students. Due to its highly scholarship, strongly honor, more and more people focus on it. In addition, lack of research and related policies, colleges or universities have a greater autonomy in the scholarship criteria and selection process. So, there are a lot of problems and controversies. This research just takes J College in H University as an example to analyze the fair cognition of national scholarship for graduate student. Besides the introduction this paper is divided into three parts:Firstly, introduce the questionnaire. Gives detailed interpretation to the research subjects. In accordance with the scoring rules, calculates the fair of cognitive scores of scholarship selection criteria, the fair of cognitive scores of scholarship selection process, the cognitive scores of the results. Introduce cognitive status of the fair of scholarship. Survey research objects’personal opinions, reflect the graduate students’viewpoints about the scholarship selection criteria and process.Secondly, taking the fair of cognitive scores of scholarship selection as benchmark, analysis the differences in gender, grade, degree, scientific achievement. And then, explore the relationship among the fair of cognitive scores of scholarship selection criteria, the fair of cognitive scores of scholarship selection process, and the cognitive scores of the results. Finally, analysis influencing factors of fair cognitive of scholarship from the dimensions such as education, grades, research experience.Thirdly, offering the suggestion of optimizing structures.1. University or college need to maintain the balance between public opinion and their own autonomy.2. Make the selection criteria more maneuverability. Highlight scientific achievements as the important index in the selection.3. Establish completely national review system of academic journals 4. Try best to descript the information of selection to everybody. Set up platform to collect feedback and accumulate experience.5. Different students should be taken different incentive methods to get the best academic performances.
