With the rapid development of China’s economy, higher education system has gradually changed, resulting in large numbers of poor college students. For the poor college students who belong to vulnerable groups, the government set up "scholarships, student loans, work-study, difficulties grants, tuition remission and others" which based on subsidization system can only alleviate the problem from the outside. And with limitations due to the current college students work mode, many practical issues and psychological issues of poor college students could not have a good solution. Especially the poor students from rural areas suffered less attention on campus. Therefore, this paper wants to pass on the case study method of social support for poor college students’ access to poor students in a study of the situation. Poor students study through fieldwork, household surveys and semi-structured interviews. I believe that the rural poor college students to social support networks got some problem in formal support, quasi-formal and informal support. Therefore, I propose to build a pluralistic society support network to help rural poor college students to improve the capabilities of obtain and management social support resources.The full text is divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction of this paper that introduced the research background, purpose, meaning, and the literature review.I study from the theoretical analysis of the current academic research associated with the shortage of poverty students. The second part of this paper describes the research design, definition of the concept, research sites and the selected of research subjects to design research methods, and describes the theoretical basis of this study. The main contents of the third part of the students’ weaknesses of social support networks exist, officially supported by quasi-formal support and informal supports three different levels of support for poor students to illustrate the main social support network problem. Conclusions and recommendations fourth part, through the construction of a variety of social support and social support main mode of differentiated content and how to build diverse states that the social support network. The fifth part is the conclusion of this article, the paper pointed out that innovation to be inadequate and the future outlook.
