It is important to cultivate students’ innovative spirit and ability of solving problems in current education. Currently, in the processes of physical teaching in the middle school, part of the students can not make good use of knowledge to solve problem. The reason is that the ability of physical modeling is insufficient. The study of physics can not leave the model. The study of physics in middle school depend on model to grasp the situation and modeling ability. Teachers should cultivate students modeling ability in teaching.Therefore, the author as a volunteer teacher, combine the actual situation of the local students to author’s teaching experience and research on the application of modeling idea in physical teaching in middle school. Consulting a lot of literature, based on the situated pedagogy, constructivism under the support of the theory studied principle, method, process and so on constructing the middle school physics model. In addition, we give three practice teaching cases and two new teaching cases. Finally, through a semester of teaching practice, we contrast examination results and interview with students. Then, by analyzing and summarizing the result, we know that the modeling idea applied in middle school physics teaching to a certain extent, stimulate the learning enthusiasm of students in the classroom, strengthen modeling awareness of students, and improve the ability of students modeling ability and problem-solving.
