A Study On Quality Assurance Of The Modern Distance Education

Since it has been established, modern distance education has achieved rapid development in all respects and has formed a certain size. It has made satisfactory and amazing achievements in practicing life-long education and promotion of educational popularization. However, the size of students is the survival line of the modern distance education and the quality is the lifeline of modern distance education. To enhance and assure the quality of modern distance education is the key to the reputation and sustainable development. Therefore, the study of focusing on the modern distance education quality as a hot area of research which is based on the needs of the times and also on the needs of modern distance education development is the starting point and the purpose of the study of the article.Based on the system theory, total quality management theory and related learning theory, the article analyzes the current situation and takes the sample of the degree education of the modern distance education from pilot universities except Central Radio and Television University. Firstly, the article, regarding the remote students as the starting point, analyzes the current situation of quality assurance of the modern distance education from pilot universities by means of empirical investigation and summarizes, with SPSS software to analyze the evaluation data, the current situations of teaching management, faculty construction, teaching resources, learning support services and teaching effectiveness. Another, basing on the analysis of the current situation, the article analyzes the problems and reasons formed. Finally, the article put forward countermeasures and proposals that improve quality assurance of the modern distance education from the perspective of internal and external.
