Relationship Among Cognitive Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence And Grade In Preschool-education Major Students

The development of preschool education major students, who are the main resource of preschool teachers, is very important to their career in the future. This research focus on preschool education major students, and to explore whether they are different with different school type. Furthermore, this research mean to explore the relationship among cognitive intelligence, emotional intelligence and grade in preschool education major students. Last, this research will prove if emotional intelligence is the moderator between cognitive intelligence and grade.In this research, I use Raven’s Standard Progressive Matrices(SPM) to test students’cognitive intelligence and Emotional Intelligence Scale (EIS) to test their emotional intelligence. The final grades of students’math, education and piano class is used for their grade in this research.409 students in different grades in 5 different college are chosen as the. sample in this research. After collecting data, I use SPSS17.0 to do the statistics. Statistic method used in this research are ANOVA test, correlation, one-way regression and moderating effect test. There are these results in this research:(1)There is significant difference of cognitive intelligence, emotional intelligence and grade in preschool education major students among students from different school type;(2)There is no significant difference between cognitive intelligence and emotional intelligence in preschool education major students;(3)Cognitive intelligence is positively correlated to grade;(4)Emotional intelligence is positively correlated to grade;(5) Emotional intelligence exist significantly moderating effect on the relationship between cognitive intelligence and grade.
