In 1960, Ausube was the first who put forward the concept of “advance organizer”. It is a kind of inclusive and general learning material which is provided by teacher to learner before lectures.Later, many educational scholars keep exploring and studying the “advance organizer”, which promotes “advance organizer” to develop and evolve into a teaching strategy. The rich discipline research productions derive from the research to “advance organizer”. But in biological science, especially biology in senior high school lecture, there is only simple teaching structure design. The application in lecture and analysis for application are poor. Therefore, the standpoint that “advance organizer” can promote the learning effectiveness in lecture, was proved in practice. In this thesis, the application of advance organizer strategy was considered as theme. The advance organizer strategy was explored from theory and practice. In theory, the review on the advance organizer strategy was described, including definition, type, comment style, which provided the theoretical basis for the next practice research. In practice, the research was divided into three stages. At first stage, the teaching material was summarized from the 《Molecular and Cellular》(pressed by People’s Education Press). Secondly, the teaching instructional design was built, and was run in teaching experiment. Thirdly, after the analysis on the experiment datum, the significant difference between the experiment class and non-experiment class was drew out.Lastly, the advance organizer teaching could promote the productivity of teaching and efficiency of learning, which was extracted from the statistical analysis to the teaching behavior.
