The cultivation of students’ scientific literacy is a fundamental goal of the new chemistry curriculum reform.Teachers can directly use and trust textbooks based on scientific literacy,and the the textbooks are important information to cultivate the science literacy of students in teaching.Firstly,I studied and understood of science literacy goals and dimensions in chemistry textbook of high school.Then I learnt the way of high school chemistry teachers process Scientific Literacy in Textbooks,and achieved good results through investigation and classroom observation.Through the practice shows that,high school chemistry teachers at the present stage,mainly from five aspects of scientific literacy,adopt corresponding teaching methods to deal with scientific literacy content in textbooks:First,in the aspect of science knowledge,the processing of chemical concepts and principles in textbooks:by setting up the process of the chemical concept and principle.Second,in the level of nature of science and scientific attitude,the processing of the content of scientific history:(1)combine the achievement and background of the scientists;(2)begin with the chemical history contents,creating teaching situation.In third,in the level of the scientific method and scientific inquiry,the processing of the verification experiment and scientific inquiry:(1)to guide the students to carry out verification experiment to obtain the the most authentic experimental data;(2) to simplify the inquiry step,using question guide,then apply to real life to organize scientific inquiry.Fourth,in the level of the connection chemical and technology society:(1)using the outline teaching makes students autonomous learning;(2)the integration of various resources,expanding teaching;(3)the use of scientific frontier and the social hot in the Scientific view.Fifth,in the level of scientific thinking,the processing of column of Thinking and Communication 、 Learning and Question:learning the function of these columns,divided into heuristic and exploratory program,using the rational way.
