| Since the 1980 s, along with our country industrialization and urbanization process accelerated, the number of rural migrant peasants is rising. More and more people turned the past mode of "scattered migration " into a "family migration", namely appearing the tendency of familial flowing, a large number of migrant workers’ children follow their parents coming into the city, resulting in the compulsory education the problem of floating children into the city. Family is the floating children initial conditions of urbanization, providing basic conditions for floating children’s socialization. therefore, family education will profoundly affect the floating children’s learning life and performance.Mainly Parsons’ theory of social actionand culture reproduction theory is the view of this research. Firstly, through the comparative study, analysis the difference and fusion between the floating children and city children’s family education environment, in the aspects of family education expectations, family investment in education, family interactions, and the way of family education,etc. Secondly, through the comparative analysis, research the difference and consistency of the floating children and city children in the aspects of learning motivation, learning habit and learning results, once again, through correlation analysis and linear regression model, analysis the relationship of the floating children family education environment and their academic performance.In this paper, the study found that:(1) In the aspect of family socioeconomic status,Including cultural capital, economic capital, social capital, comparing with urban children’s family, migrant children family still has many defects showing the parents low level of education, family income gap obviously, poor dwelling environment, and so on. The family’s economic and social status directly impact children’s academic performance. These are then reflected in the place: in floating children in the family, parents’ education level is higher, the stronger parents’ level of cultivation of floating children study habits; Simple living environment directly restricts floating Children’s academic performance; The higher the neighborhood harmony degree, the higher level of floating children learning habits.(2) Migrant children and urban children’s family education expect is no difference, trending fusion, Family education expectation impact on floating children’s academic performance, the higher family education expectations, the better floating children’s academic performance.(3) Comparing with the city children in the family education resources and manpower input, migrant children family education investment lacking, especially investment will directly affect the floating children school learning habits and learning results.(4) In the family of the floating children, Parents relationship is equality, intimate on the lateral, comparing with the city children’s family, tending is consistency between them, the floating children parents is busy with work, parents do not have enough time and energy to exchange and communication with their children on the longitudinal parent-child relationship, degree of parent-child interaction in terms of floating children is lower than the level of city. Parents relationship harmony degree of migrant children affect the learning motivation, the higher parents relationship harmony degree of migrant children, the stronger its academic motivation and parent-child relationship will directly affect the floating children’s learning outcomes.(5) Comparing with the floating children family, the way of urban children’s father education is more democratic and pay more attention to the instructive way to educate child, but in the family of the floating children, the mother’s education way is more affinity comparing with their father, father’s education mode is more severe. Family education mode will directly affect the learning result of floating children, with democratic family education way, floating children learning level will be good.According to the research results, this paper puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions: improve labor quality and employment levels of the migrant workers; Transformation the education mode and education idea of floating children parents education; the process of family education put into their children’s academic performance and the socialization is crucial,Increasing investment material resources and manpower in family education; Strengthen the interaction among family members, construction a harmonious family interactive atmosphere. |
