Study On The Distribution And Behavior Of Park Visitors Based On Environmental Behavior

As a communication medium,Park plays an important role from ancient times.However, with rapid development of China,people’s living standard and life style has changed much. As important public daily recreation environment in city,urban park has not only emphasized the naturalness and functionality of environment,but designed on the basis of social problems and analyzed which can meet tourists’ attitudes for rest, browsing,exercising, communication and sightseeing. Therefore,researching on the relationship between tourists’ behavior and city park environment can be reflected human-beings’ behavior better and also build favorable interact relationship between park environment and tourists’ behavior. Eventually create a truly meet the needs of the tourist park environment, is the important subject in the process of construction of modern city park.In this paper, based on the theory of environmental behavior and environmental psychology, Beijing Tao ranting park is being selected as the research object for its more tourists and popularity. Firstly, by using method of questionnaire investigation,interviewing and observation, the author of this thesis analyze and evaluate the environment of this park. Secondly, made tourists’ behavior and mentality as the evaluation elements, based on the tourists feelings and distribution in this park, the author of this thesis will conclude the affection elements for tourists’ behavior and distribution. Thirdly,based on the problems existing in the course of Tao ranting park environment and tourist behavior, the distribution characteristics of park put forward the corresponding countermeasure and the suggestion. Finally, the author of this thesis draws lessons from the success of the joyous pavilion park design and deficiency and provides reference for similar construction of city park.In this paper, the authors of this thesis mainly draw the following conclusion through all the year round research:(1) Urban park design and construction should consider the psychological and behavioral requirements of users, the environmental behavior modification and practically applied to the city park construction.(2) Tao ranting park greening environment, water environment and facilities is relatively mature, but there are shortcomings, mainly displays in: the lack of plant level,insufficient water pollution is serious,the number of service facilities cannot meet the needs of tourists.(3) Park tourists’ distribution is related with time and space. The weather elements like light, temperature and plant distribution decides the tourists’ place and type of behavior in large extent. Different age and sex people have different attitude in field and modernity. Different group show special environmental behavior.(4) Tao ranting park visitors behavior mainly include: exercise behavior, recreation behavior, linger behavior and relaxing behavior. Tourists have different behavior in different space environment, there is a connection between them, according to the different behavior of tourists demand, there is a different designation of the surrounding environment.(5) A popular space environment should meet the following conditions: good microclimate,a sense of security,easy to reach,special features and motivational,participation is good.(6) Pay attention to the semi open space of plant landscape of the park construction,rising the proportion of this kind of space which can effectively alleviate the phenomenon of visitors to overload. In plant configuration you should be fully considered when visitors are physiological needs and psychological needs, let the plant not only play a shade, the basic function such as wind should also play a good landscape features.(7) Renovation and construction process, in the park should fully relieve tourist behavior and the contradiction between the park environment, improve the utilization ratio of environment and minimize the damage of visitors to the park environment.On the perspective of environment behaviorist, the research of tourists behavior and distribution in Tao ranting Park with large amount tourists is not only beneficial to the park environment humanized design, but can also provide a new design thinking and scientific basis for city park planning.
