Objective:This study of duck feather badminton ball machine, feathers and nylon plastic material badminton conducted three experiments serve under the same initial conditions, respectively. Were carried out using high-speed cameras to shoot its flight path, using SBCAS2W4 data analysis software for image capture flight data analysis and data processing. Wind tunnel speed equipment were the three materials tested by the speed of badminton shuttlecock, speed statistics to their respective number. The data badminton number three materials comparative analysis to identify and natural nylon plastic badminton shuttlecock in the flight path, flight distance, altitude, speed deviation angle and other parameters badminton index differences, analysis of the presence of different materials badminton differences factors for the new plastic material developed to provide data based badminton conclusions and recommendations.Results:Experimental data show duck feather and goose feather badminton shuttlecock obvious differences, nylon plastic badminton and duck, goose feather badminton raw footage about the whole process deviations in the flight path is not large differences; but nylon plastic badminton and natural duck goose feather badminton in the flight path, flight distance, altitude, speed of their number, badminton Feather weight and length ball to parameters such indicators are the obvious differences.Conclusions:By comparing plastic badminton shuttlecock with natural raw footage difference, compared to experimental data exist to identify deficiencies plastic badminton, proposes improvements.1. a center of gravity close to the position of badminton shuttlecock position near the middle of the total length, later in the improvement and development of new plastic badminton should follow the characteristics of the data.2. badminton nylon plastic raw footage too heavy to plastic badminton shuttlecock flight parameters close to the raw footage of natural feathers, need to improve the material nylon plastic raw footage badminton or seek new material, new plastic material so that parameter index closer to the raw footage of the animals3. air resistance during flight suffered large, large nylon plastic deformation caliber badminton skirt, sudden changes in airflow large frontal projected area, flight speed and distance difficult to control the placement; improved plastic rod feathers stability and resilience, improved plastic badminton in the case of large air resistance pressure resistance.4. plastic badminton shuttlecock with natural raw footage of their speed, there are still big differences, need to improve plastic-like material badminton skirt shape, the plastic badminton shuttlecock speed close to their natural animal raw footage.
