Examination anxiety has been a perplexing problem for candidates. The current evaluation system of education determines that the main standard to measure the students is score, thus the test anxiety in campus is a common psychological problem. Test anxiety will more or less influence students’ learning efficiency, exam- preparing status, exam-taking status, after-exam status and candidates’attitude adjustment. This psychological problems attracts a widespread social concern.In recent years, the domestic researcher mainly conduct the researches about the test anxiety problems among the general students, but the research on the academic excellence students test anxiety is not enough. In traditional opinion, academic outstanding students should perform better in overcoming the test anxiety, on the contrary, the study find out that test anxiety is a common psychological problems among the academic excellence students. There exits a considerable number of academic excellence students in each school, like other students, the attention of psychological health also needs to be paid to them. This study analyzes the causes to the formation of test anxiety among the academic excellence students and suggests corresponding guidance strategies according to students’real situations.This study uses "Test Anxiety Self Rating Scale" as the research tool and take students from grade one to three in Nanning No.2 High School as the research objects.3600 scales has been issued and all is reclaimed. A total of 846 scales is selected for the research after picking out the scales of the top 1050 students of and eliminating the invalid scales. The investigation result shows as follow,32.03% academic excellence students are in mild anxiety level,53.19% are in moderate anxiety level,14.67% are in a high anxiety level and 0.71% are in severe anxiety level.Among the students whose test anxiety scores are higher than 50 points, the grades and the student number who score higher 50 have negative relation. They reach a significant level on the base of 0.01. This shows that high anxiety and severe anxiety students’ number reduces when their grades are becoming higher. Gender factors has negative connection with the students whose test anxiety scores are higher than 50 points. but the result does not reach significant level.Causes of test anxiety to the academic excellence students are the individual psychological factors, family education factors, school education factors and social environmental factors.Test anxiety affects students’ cognition. The student are not fully aware of the mis-cognitive mode, conversely, it affects the student’s emotion and psychology, thus aggravates the test anxiety level. Test anxiety affects student s’ behavior mode, students tend to use avoidance or even escaping behavior to avoid the exams or tests.The need for security dependence makes the student unable to face and deal the issue of examination; Test anxiety influences the outstanding students’ academic motivation, reduces the learning efficiency, affects academic test scores directly. The more the academic excellent student is concerned about the exam, the more test anxiety they will get.Different coping strategies can be applied according to the students’ grades and the real causes to test anxiety. By setting up psychological health education courses, creating a good atmosphere of psychological health education can better help students to realize their own psychological problems. Setting up test anxiety counseling courses to different grades can help students to adjust themselves in different stages according to their characteristics and actual situations. Setting psychological association to make more students realize the importance of mental health. Establishing long-term parent schools to ensure parents to realize problems correctly and offer the help timely. Holding psychological salons and using group counseling forms to let the students and parents communicate face to face. This helps to solve the problem of test anxiety on the one hand and resolve the anxiety of parents on the other hand.Providing training for the staff about mental health education can make mental health education be in use in the daily teaching and prevent the test anxiety effectively. Setting up psychological consultation room to solve outstanding academic students’examination anxiety in the form of individual counseling or group counseling.
