| As an important indicator to test the degree of knowledge mastery of students,students’ academic performance has always been highly valued by students,parents,teachers and the education industry.At present,people pay more attention to the relationship between intellectual factors and students’ academic performance,while the research on the influence of non-intellectual factors on students’ academic performance is rare,especially the research on parents’ anxiety and coping styles.less.To this end,this study is based on previous studies and focuses on parent groups,mainly discussing the relationship between parent anxiety,coping styles and student academic performance,and further investigates the impact of coping styles on parents’ anxiety on students’ academic performance The regulatory role played in the process.This study mainly uses questionnaire surveys,taking parents of students in the first grade of MX School in Chaoyang District,Shantou City as the survey object,using the "Anxiety Self-Rating Scale" and "Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire" to assess parents’ anxiety,coping styles and student academic performance Analysis of the relationship between.The study found:First,parents generally have obvious anxiety.There are significant differences in parental anxiety in gender,educational background,and monthly income.Among them,female,high-educated,and high-income parents have higher levels of anxiety.Second,There are significant differences in parental coping styles in terms of academic qualifications and monthly income.Among them,parents with high education and high income are more likely to adopt active coping styles.Third,parents’ anxiety and negative coping styles are significantly negatively correlated with students’ academic performance,and parents’ positive coping styles are significantly positively correlated with students’ academic performance.Fourth,positive coping styles have a significant moderating effect between parent anxiety and students’ academic performance,while negative coping styles have no significant moderating effect.Finally,on the basis of these research conclusions,the thesis carried out relevant discussions,and put forward specific suggestions from the four levels of school,family,parents,and students.In short,rationally adjusting the anxiety of parents and guiding them to adopt more positive coping styles is of great significance to the healthy development of parents’ physical and mental health,the improvement of students’ academic performance,and the creation of a stable and harmonious family and social environment. |
