| In the report to the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized that it is necessary to strengthen the construction of a social psychological service system and cultivate a social mentality of self-esteem,self-love,rational peace, and positive progress. The development of a country is essentially human development, and human development is inseparable from mental health. The development of a country is essentially the development of human beings, whose development cannot be separated from mental health.Mental health problems of college students vary from person to person, mainly depending on the physiological and psychological basis of different individuals and their living environment.Study is one of the most important things for college students, which will directly or indirectly affect their psychological state. Therefore, caring about the mental health of college students undoubtedly needs to pay attention to their academic work, and obtaining and using academic information is an Indispensable link in study life.At present, the information explosion in the Internet age has made it easier and more convenient to obtain academic information. However, the social phenomenon of information anxiety has not gradually disappeared due to the rapid development of the Internet. On the contrary,it has become more and more common, and sometimes even has a negative effect on the study and life of college students. Therefore, this study focuses on college students, starting from the academic information that college students attach importance to,makes an exploratory study on the influencing factors of college students’ academic information anxiety, and puts forward suggestions for preventing and alleviating college students’ academic information anxiety according to the influencing factors, which is of practical significance.First of all, from the three dimensions of the connotation of information anxiety, the influencing factors of information anxiety of college students, and the coping strategies of college students’ information anxiety, the relevant researches at home and abroad are sorted out.It is found that the focus of current research is limited, and there is a lack of research focusing only on academic information anxiety. On the basis of literature review, the concepts of information anxiety, group characteristics of college students, and academic information anxiety of college students are defined in this research. Then, this paper summarizes and generalizes the related flow theory model and cognitive load theory, and draws the enlightenment related to the influencing factors. After that, the interview outline is designed. The interview outline is divided into two parts: basic information of the interviewees and problems related to college students’ academic information anxiety.Through online interviews, this paper interviewed junior college students, undergraduates, postgraduates and doctoral students from many universities.A total of 56 college students were interviewed, among which 43 students experienced academic information anxiety. Therefore,we finally obtained the interview texts of 43 college students,a total of 39,558 words. Then, the academic information anxiety is divided into the preparation stage of academic information search, the academic information retrieval stage, the academic information processing and utilization stage, and the concept extraction and coding analysis of the interview text are carried out in stages with the help of grounded theoretical analysis methods.Through open coding, each stage has identified the common and different influencing factors, and then carries on the main axis coding and selective coding.According to the results of coding and the analysis of interview text, the theoretical models of college students’ academic information anxiety in different stages are obtained. The results show that when college students receive academic tasks but are still in the preparatory stage of information searching, the external factors that affect their anxiety include information subject, information retrieval system, and academic tasks;Internal factors include personal consciousness, personality traits, character characteristics and knowledge background. The external factors of college students’ anxiety in the stage of academic information retrieval include information subject, information retrieval system, information retrieval environment and academic task.Internal factors include personality traits, knowledge background, information literacy and psychological quality. In the stage of processing and using academic information, the external factors that affect college students’ academic information anxiety include information subject, information retrieval system and academic task.Internal factors include personality traits, personality characteristics, psychological quality, knowledge background and information literacy. The factors that affect college students’ academic information anxiety in the three stages have similarities as well as differences. Finally, according to the influencing factors of college students’ academic information anxiety obtained from the above analysis, this paper believes that countermeasures for college students’ academic information anxiety should be proposed respectively from two perspectives of prevention measures before anxiety and mitigation measures after anxiety. The preventive measures for college students’ academic information anxiety are discussed from four perspectives. The first is to promote the openness and transparency of information in the social environment under the joint efforts of the state, social organizations, universities, and libraries;the second is that all circles of society should pay more attention to college students’ mental health;the third is to improve the quality of services provided by academic information providers;the fourth is to strengthen the mental health and capacity building of college students. The self-response measures of college students after the occurrence of academic information anxiety mainly include five aspects, including selective abandonment;face difficulties and solve problems;actively seek help from others;talk to others;relax appropriately and divert attention. |
