Function is the key content in high school mathematics learning.Logarithmic function as one of the basic function which is extremely important for students to learn and master.Because of the function knowledge itself has the feature of abstract and symbolic, and the logarithmic function is a new kind of function need to learn after students enter high school.Logarithmic concept is relatively abstract, logarithmic symbol is not easy to understand, logarithmic operation is not more specific than before. So there are some obstacles when students learn and master it.This paper investigate and analyse the obstacles of logarithmic function learning among high school students mainly through the questionnaire research. The research suggest that in the process of learning logarithmic function,there are some obstacles are as follows: emotional disorders, conceptual understanding disorders, operational obstacles, image and character of application obstacles. On the basis of these,we analyse the causes of the obstacles, we can concluded that:(1) The students are fear of the logarithm function, and not interested in study, lack of patience and confidence when they solve problem, not develop good study habits and so on,formed the emotional disorders.(2) The students’ superfical thinking lead to the conceptual about logarithmic function’s understanding is not deep, can’t understand the meaning of logarithmic symbols.These factors lead to the formation of conceptual understanding disorders.(3) The students can’t master and remember the formula by their ways, and the computing capacity is not strong, formed the operational obstacles.(4) Not understanding and master the mathematical thinking method.The image and nature of memory unreliable,etc.Formed the image and character of application obstacles.Combining the characteristics of the logarithmic function and teaching practice, there are some countermeasures to overcome the logarithmic function learning disabilities:cultivate learning interesting, improve study habits, overcome the emotional disorders; deepen the concept teaching, strengthen the training of thinking, overcome the concept understanding disorders; pay attention to the formula derivation and improve the ability of calculation, overcome the operational obstacles:attaches great importance to the penetration of mathematical thinking method, overcome the image and character of application obstacles.
