The logarithmic function is a new type of function encountered by the first-year students.According to the requirements of the curriculum standards,it is an important basic elementary function,but due to the high degree of abstraction of logarithmic symbols and the integration of the logarithmic function related test sites.Many factors,such as strong sexuality,poor knowledge of related functions,etc.,make students have obvious difficulties in learning the logarithm function.Although domestic mathematics educators have many research results on logarithm and logarithmic functions,most of them are in the history of logarithm mathematics,teaching design of logarithmic functions,the concept,nature,problem solving of logarithmic functions,etc.The author puts forward his own point of view while paying little attention to the empirical study of logarithmic functions.Through interviews with some high school teachers,the author found that teachers do not understand students' learning situations well,and they do not know what specific learning difficulties students have in their studies.The interview with the students found that the basic knowledge of the students in the study of the logarithmic function is not solid,the learning attitude is not correct,and some of the complex issues are directly abandoned,and the learning situation is not optimistic.In order to examine the learning status of the student logarithmic function,the main contents of the logarithmic function: the concept of the logarithmic function,domain,value range,image,nature,the relationship between the logarithmic function,logarithmic function,seven points The survey questionnaire was set up at three levels to investigate three different types of schools in Luliang District.Next,we used Excel and spss software to process and analyze the data of the survey questionnaire,and obtained the learning status of the first-year students' knowledge of the logarithmic function:1.Students in the three schools have the best grasp of the logarithmic function definition domain,followed by the nature,but they do not learn well in the domain,image,and integrated applications.2.The current situation of the logarithmic function learning in the three schools is not very different,and the relationship between the learning situation and the type of school is not significant.3.There is no difference between the learning of logarithmic function and the gender of students.In order to understand the students' specific learning difficulties in the logarithm function learning,the author further analyzed the papers and found that most of the students' common learning problems summarized and summarized three specific types of difficulties:1.The concept of a logarithmic function is difficult to master.Students in the study,the concept of understanding is only the level of understanding,can not be a complete statement of the concept,can not use the concept of logarithmic function to distinguish which function is a logarithmic function,the difficulty of understanding the concept.2.the application of mathematical thinking is difficult.In the high one-number function learning,the ideas of classifircation and discutssion,the idea of combinahtion of numberss and shapes,and the idea of transformation and transformation are often used.However,many students do not understand these three types of ideas in concrete terms,and they will not apply them to solving problems.3.It is difficult to understand the logarithmic compound function.The logarithmic compound function is a difficult and difficult point for high school function learning.There are three kinds of difficulties for students in learning this part of the knowledge: the lack of overall change consciousness,the lack of inspection of the function definition domain,and the difficulty in judgment of monotonicity.Based on the above research results,the author proposes six teaching suggestions for the learning difficulties of the first-year students on logarithmic functions: 1.Pay attention to conceptual understanding teaching and allow students to memorize concepts on the basis of understanding.2,pay attention to thinking methods training,so that students solve problemsmore abundant ideas.3,to strengthen the comprehensive question-type training,allowing students to better grasp the knowledge.4.Pay attention to the construction of knowledge framework teaching and link the knowledge learned.5,to develop students self-learning ability,so that students take the initiative to acquire knowledge.6,to strengthen the group's cooperation in learning,to develop students' ability to explore knowledge.
