At the beginning of this century, our country has becoming reform foundation education to enhance comprehensively quality education, and it symbolized the initial of the science education reform. The key to reform is that changing the tradition teaching and study method, and changing students learn knowledge way by passive to positive, advocating students to positively participate in learning and to promote their ability to use knowledge which is contain consciousness of exploration and innovation, method of learning scientific research through their own practice. That can further improve the quality of education. Inquiry teaching is more suitable to the need of educational reform, and this new teaching way may makes students experience the science exploration process by themselves, may cultivates students’ the ability of the science exploration and innovation spirit.Consequently, This can make student’s ability development more and more comprehension.The P.E. optional class is the mainly teaching form in the school so that it is also the important reform contents. Due to influenced by the traditional teaching mode for a long period, it makes colleges’ sports courses in a unification and simplification condition,and makes the quality of teaching in a low level and makes students have little interest in study. Therefore,changing the old teaching way and introducing new methods in class is the key to the education reform. In order to adapting to the requirement of new education reform, the author introduce inquiry teaching method into the badminton courses. through doing a series of interviews and looking up a large number of literature.The advantages of inquiry teaching is that can more cultivate relationship between teacher and student teaching, and changing the role between teacher and student, the students’ ability of motivation and creative may get developed in some way, which is reflected the newquality-oriented education idea.In this paper, experiment and survey has been used to study the Inquiry teaching in the college’s P.E teaching,and it choose the Inner Mongolia electron information vacillation school 2013 Badminton option class students as experimental subjects to do teaching experiment study. On fundamental of a term of experiment, the author analysis the amount of dates of experimental class and comparison class. Basic on studying and analyzing the statistics, the result show us that using inquiry teaching had a better results than using the traditional teaching mode.The results of the survey is as follows:1.Taking inquiry teaching into the class that can develop students’ interest in study, turn students’ attitude to a better side and make a positive attitude to the PE.study.2.Using inquiry teaching mode in the badminton option class have a benefit to students’ physical quality.3.Using inquiry teaching mode in the badminton option class have a high efficient to improve the students’ sports skill level.4.It is workable to using inquiry teaching mode in the badminton option class.
