In 1973, the related concept’occupational burnout’was first proposed by American clinical psychologist Fudenberg in his research. Since then, occupational burnout has aroused widely attention and been referenced in some industries which are easy to overwork such as medical and education. From the 1980’s, the related theory research of job burnout extends to education and teaching. And in the mid-1990’s, job burnout has been the prominent problem worldwide in education. Because education work is heavy workload, whose work content is to face students. The work is more stressful, so after a period of high-tense work, the teachers are prone to have occupational burnout status. The appearance of occupational burnout is very harmful to education staff’s physical and mental health. Also it poses a huge threat to the stability of teaching team construction and work quality. Education is mainly face to the students, when the job burnout occurs, the negative effect in the teaching and education is huge.Independent college occurs under the condition of the growing needs of the society for education. It is a new school running mode and characteristics. It has been booming since it occurs. Only after ten more years, it has become one of the most important educational modal with feature. On one hand, it is an irresistible trend that independent college appears with the development of currant teaching and education. It plays an important role in education and teaching development. On the other hand, it brings out many problems because of shortage of precipitation of school running and experience. Among which, teachers’occupational burnout is a prominent one. While teaching, teachers should ensure their knowledge reserve keep up with the subject update rate. Moreover, they need to tackle the relationship with the colleagues and students. Then-work is complicated. Besides, independent colleges are private schools. Although it plays an important role in current education, it is not the mainstream teaching mode. A considerate of people don’t trust and accept private schools and they are self-financing. So teachers’occupation security is not guaranteed. Various pressure lead to the teachers who are in the independent colleges become the high rate and high risk group. Thus, the occupation burnout of these teachers arouses more attention. It is imperative to take relevant intervention measures and research.Currently, the majority study of teachers’ job burnout focuses on kindergartens, primary schools, middle schools and ordinary university. There is relatively less study for vocational and third-grade colleges. The author takes the independent institute in Jingzhou as the study object, chooses MBI-GS and classification survey which is designed according to the actual situation which influence teachers occupational burnout. The full-time teachers in Jingzhou area were investigated and analyzed. The main objective is to know the specific situation of the local independent college teachers’ job burnout and whether the phenomenon is related to teachers’ age, gender, educational background or professional title. Meanwhile, it is analyzed from many aspects such as society, school, student and the person himself. According to the survey result, the phenomenon of occupation burnout of independent colleges is analyzed and researched. In the end, two counter measures are put forward. One is individual’s self-intervention and the other is organizational effective intervention and the three levels’ solution and measures of social, college, family and individual.
