The discipline of history because of its special discipline characteristic which could not reproduce,teaching by using multimedia courseware routine has been unable to meet the needs of the students study history knowledge. Especially for junior middle school students, the ability of abstract thinking is not yet mature, understanding of knowledge mainly depends on the specific experience. Conventional multimedia courseware of information is only transferred tothe textbook writing, students are still not well understood knowledge.Therefore, this study to explore, through the virtual reality technology and junior high school history, combined the analysis of the application of virtual reality technology in the junior high school history classroom teaching effect. To junior middle school history teaching content of "primitive farming life" as an example for the development and implementation of virtual scene,improve the students’ interest in learning history, active classroom atmosphere, easier to understand and master the knowledge, to achieve better teaching effect. Through the integration of virtual reality technology in the history classroom, provides the reference for theteachers of history teaching, at the same time as the virtual reality technology into theclassroom to seek a breakthrough point in history.
