With the changes of international situation in recent years, soft power of culture has become an indispensable part of comprehensive national strength. At the same time, the state, the government and the society advocate the protection and the inheritance of traditional culture. But on the other hand, with the accelerated process of urbanization, commercialization and informatization, cultural fault phenomenon has emerged, traditional culture has been ignored by the public but to become a matter within a few experts’ duties. Pupils are the main force in the inheritance of traditional culture and the focus in the advocation of traditional culture. The state and the ministry of education have successively promulgated relevant policies and guidelines for the promotion of traditional culture into the campus. Therefore, under the information environment, research on traditional culture mobile learning education in primary school has great significance on the pupils’ traditional culture experience, cultural awareness, cultural inheritance and mobile learning extended application. For this purpose, the theory and practice are applied together to explore ―what is the connotation of mobile learning and traditional culture mobile learning‖, ―what is the teaching practice mode of traditional culture mobile learning and teaching practice strategy‖, ―how to promote the traditional culture education by mobile learning‖ and ―how to evaluate the learning achievement‖ in this paper.In the theoretical part, the current situations of traditional culture education are summarized and analyzed to grasp its limitations in primary schools firstly. The related policies and outlines are interpreted to clarify the objective and direction of traditional culture education in primary schools, to improve the students’ feelings for Chinese excellent traditional culture as the focus, and also to develop cognitive education to understand the abundance in Chinese excellent traditional culture. Secondly, the connotation of multi angle mobile learning is interpreted to ascertain research orientation of mobile learning in this paper. Later, the situational cognition and learning theory, activity theory and mobile learning mode are combined to put forward the mobile learning mode of traditional culture education and teaching practice strategy. Furthermore, based on interviews, the objectives and contents of practice course are determined in this paper.In the practical exploration part, according to ―Wuxi opera‖ chapter of school-based curriculum in T school, ipad is taken as the carrier, Design and manufacture of mobile learning resource, traditional culture educational mode in primary schools can be changed to promote Pupils’ feeling for traditional culture through the discussion of themes and problems exploration, concept exploration, situated learning, data collection, communication and multiple evaluation. By using quasi experimental research method, different groups pretest design and posttest design are studied, and the collected data is analyzed to reach conclusions.Finally, the collected data includes ―Wuxi opera‖ knowledge test, before and after ―Wuxi opera‖ learning attitude scale, mobile devices for learning ―Wuxi opera‖ questionnaire and teachers’ suggestions. The difference analysis and paired tests of data are conducted by using SPSS, the results obtained are: 1.Traditional culture mobile learning can improve the students’ interest in learning ―Wuxi opera‖, change their learning attitudes, promote their cultural identity and consciousness of inheritance. 2.Traditional culture mobile learning helps to learn and master ―Wuxi opera‖ knowledge. 3.Students can understand the role of mobile equipment through traditional culture mobile learning, recognize its assisted learning. 4.Traditional culture mobile learning method can change teachers’ ideas and innovate teaching method. 5.The practice mode and strategy of traditional culture mobile learning is effective.
