Recently,the topic of Cooperation Leaning is highly desired for many teachers and schools for teaching in class and it also plays an important role in China. It is a creative and productive learning strategy.It helps lots for second language learning. At the same time, it is well known that Autonomous Learning is also used for second language learning for decades. So many famous socialists have published a wide range of books about it. Cultivating and improving autonomous learning ability is a good way for students in junior high school because of students’ age and their capability for learning.Junior high school period is a perfect time for students to practice their autonomous learning, for this is a key period to students’ command of learning strategies. Cultivating and improving the ability of autonomous learning lays a good foundation for students to foster their individuality in their future careers. The author finds that the research on junior high schools’ autonomous learning is less than the research on high schools and universities via a wide range of researches clearly. This research’s main point is to create the connection between cooperation and autonomous learning to find the relation between these two factors and find how to function on junior high school students to cultivate and improve their autonomous learning ability in class.This paper aims at the students in Tong Liao Hong Qiao junior high school. The research is to cultivate and improve their autonomous learning ability by using cooperation learning. The paper aims to confirm that cooperation learning can be used in class and can improve students’ score,learning motivation, self-monitoring and evaluation. Namely, it can cultivate and improve students’ autonomous learning ability. The author chooses two classes on the same level of ability, motivation, self-monitoring and evaluation.One of them is experiment class and the other is called control class. We use cooperation learning in the experiment class while the control class uses the traditional way to teach. Through the experiment for one semester, it shows that with the help of cooperation learning strategy, students in experiment class have higher score, self-monitoring and evaluation than the students in control class. So it can turn out that using cooperation learning in class can cultivate and improve students’ autonomous learning ability.
