| Reading is a crucial link in senior high school Chinese teaching, a skill that students must master. This paper will provide an investigation to summarize current situation of Chinese reading teaching, find out the existing problem and explore the teaching links, aiming at finding applicable reading techniques. In the study, comparative experiment can be used to develop a set of applicable reading techniques. Reading is not only an important way to acquire information, but also a basic skill that one must master in his education. Taking one’s long-term development into consideration, reading ability can reflex his/her information acquiring capacity and knowledge reserve. Good command of reading is beneficial to personal development; it can also embody one’s comprehensive quality. Taking examples around us, we can find that good reading ability is a prerequisite for better academic achievement. A lot of key information needs to be acquired through reading in examination. Whether one can get the accurate information is the precondition and key to the answer. Therefore, it is crucial to cultivate student’s reading capacity during the teaching. However, students’ reading ability are at different levels, some are outstanding while most are on average level. Generally, improving one’s reading ability needs a long-time systematic training and a good foundation. But confronted with intense learning, students don’t have enough time for fundamental training. Thus as a high school teacher, I attempt to find some reading techniques that can improve their reading ability in a short time so as to save their time. Based on the achievement made by seniors of this profession and with the help of my colleagues and students, I make a comparable experiment to study reading techniques. In the meantime, I give a reflection on the prominent problems during the teaching. This paper is hereby to explore the causes of theseproblems and find proper solutions to them. |
