Nowadays, with the rapid development of society, Information Technology (IT) spreads with lightning speed to every aspect of our lives. While our production and life style is changing, the way of thinking and learning changes slowly at the same time. The traditional way of teaching can not meet our growing demand for effective learning. For adapt to the trend of information society, many countries have proposed to universal IT education in schools and stressed to use information technology to transform traditional teaching methods. Thus, we can say that the applying of IT to classroom is inevitable trend of social progress and the only way of education reforming.As an important branch of mathematics, geometry is mainly used to reflect the space form of real world as well as understand an objective world. Every discipline originated in real life and serve to the life. Of course, geometry is no exception. It is a long-term accumulation of human life experiences, a summary of the survival and development of human beings and a direct reflection of the reality of human living space. Otherwise, It can also be used to guide the production of human life. In terms of geometric knowledge in schools, it is the sublimation of humans’ valuable experience for thousands of years and a highly abstract generalization of knowledge. But the traditional way of teaching is difficult to make students understand the essence. The advent of modern information technology not only brings an impact to traditional teaching methods, but also brings the expectation to education reforming.The main content of this article is IT in teaching application of "graphic changes" at junior middle school. This part is not only the key elements of the new curriculum, but also the foundation from "static" to "move" in geometry. The reform of teaching methods for promoting change the way of the entire teaching geometry is pivotal. The use of modern information technology can not only make up the traditional teaching methods, but also change the way of students’ learn and enhance students’ ability to acquire knowledge. Hence, What we will do is to make modern information technology combined with traditional teaching methods and achieve the teaching methods to optimize gradually.The full text is divided into four parts:Chapter one is an overview of the background, the current research, the purpose, significance research, the research methods and so on. Chapter two reviews the five levels of teaching theory and teaching theory audiovisual Fan · Hill-based geometric thinking, sorts out the "graphic changes" concepts and knowledge structures and describes the IT concepts and cognitive tools of information technology. In chapter three, we use the questionnaires, random interviews and other research methods to understand the status of IT in junior geometry "graphic change" teaching application. And also we analyze and summarize some problems and propose some suggestions for junior students to use IT geometry capabilities. Chapter four, the case of information technology in junior high school "graphic changes" teaching is analyzed and some effective suggestions of information technology in teaching junior high school geometry application is recommended.
