Mathematical concept is the foundation of the mathematical knowledge, the cognitive basis is our students in learning, is the center of the students in mathematical thinking and mathematical concepts in mathematics learning and mathematics education at the same time has the very important position.In this paper, based on the cognitive psychology, through the analysis of the related theory and reading, communication with experts to explore, finally put the mathematics concept learning is divided into six dimensions, respectively is restated concept, concept analysis, the difference between concept,characterization and application of concept, the concept map six dimensions. The design of the questionnaire content level in the six dimensions as the standard to carry on the design.In this study, on the basis of relative literatures reviewing the current research status of mathematical concept, and put forward his theoretical ideas,analysis the current junior middle school mathematics textbook chapters contains the knowledge of mathematical concept, according to the characteristics of the mathematical concepts and the related theory of the mathematical concept is divided into six dimensions, and mathematical concepts to junior high school students to master test and student interview questionnaire, on the part of the test and interview after junior high school student, will have a careful analysis and summarizing the results and some characteristics of mathematical concepts in junior high school students to master the development of the situation and explore its level in all dimensions of learning disabilities, and analyzes the cause of problems, and finally puts forward some teaching Suggestions.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1) the junior middle school students mathematical concept is enhanced by the mastery of ability basically as the grade rises, and the ninth grade girl’s abilityto grasp the concept of overall are better than boys;(2) the junior middle school students in every dimension of mathematical concept learning level girls in general to acquire better than boys in each dimension;(3) the junior middle school students in learning mathematics concept learning each dimension levels to master in this dimension difference concept is best, poor student appears the phenomenon of learning difficulties, in every dimension and level good students mainly in the characterization of concept and concept map these two dimensions in learning disabilities;(4)students in various dimensions of learning disabilities because there are three main aspects, mainly with the characteristics of the concept itself and get the way, the learning state of the students and teachers’ teaching, to solve the learning difficulties, first of all, may be through the improvement of teachers’ teaching and improvement.
