| With the development of positive psychology and organizational behavior research, employee engagement has become a hotspot following after job satisfaction, job involvement, organizational commitment and employee loyalty. A lot of researches reflect that employee engagement is the key to business performance.This research is taking X independent college to study. X independent college, as a self-sustaining college who train students with talents and rely on its public praise, should pay more attention to its employee engagement. With a lot of literature reading and in-depth investigation of X independent college, we found that employee engagement structure model includes three dimensions:organizational identification, sense of working competence and work behavioral traits. Then analysis is made in different aspect with engagement influence factors to find out influence factors in employee engagement and in each dimension. With analysis of demographic variables we found that different staffing level has significant difference, different age structure make significant difference in sense of working competence and intermediate title staff show the lowest level in employee engagement. Influence factors analysis show that employee engagement in X independent college is influenced by work itself, career development, compensation and benefits, and organizational support.According to the researching result this thesis propounds some countermeasures based on the three significant difference aspects under different demographics. Furthermore, this thesis propounds devoting more attention to recruitment of employees who match the job, promoting employee’s satisfaction in work itself, focusing on staff training and setting up staff career planning, promoting the staf’s perception of fairness about compensation benefit, and promoting the manager’s ability by caring about their psychological need to promote X independent college’s employee engagement. |
