As we all know, innovation is very important to enterprises,so the purpose of this study is to explore the influencing factors and mechanisms of employee innovation behavior. With the rise of various flexible working modes, the use of work-related communication tools has become increasingly popular.Whether this new flexible office behavior will have an impact on employees' innovative behavior is the research topic of this study.Working through information and communication technologies after hours(W?ICTs)as the dependent variable, the employee innovation behavior as the independent variable,Job demands-resources model as the theoretical support, the introduction of job autonomy and workload and job engagement and job burnout as a mediation, build the W?ICTs impact on employee innovation behavior of double path chain mediator model.351 employees from Liaoning,Beijing,Tianjin and other areas comprise our sample,Participants were asked to fill out questionnaires.W?ICTs scale, employee innovation behavior scale, job autonomy scale, work engagement scale, workload scale, job burnout scale as the research tools.SPSS23.0 and AMOS24.0 were used for data analysis,The results indicated that:1)W?ICTs can positively predict employee innovation behavior, job autonomy, job engagement and workload;2)Job burnout can negatively predict employee innovation behavior;3)Job engagement, job autonomy and workload can positively predict employee innovation behavior;4)employee job autonomy and job involvement, employee workload and job burnout have multiple chain mediating effects on the relationship between W?ICTs and innovation behavior.W?ICTs indirectly affects job engagement and employee innovation behavior through influencing job autonomy. The use of work-related communication tools indirectly affects job burnout and ultimately affects employee innovation behavior by affecting workload. So come to the conclusion: this study is based on job requirements-resource model, this study found that the W?ICTs impact on employee innovative behavior exist double path: a path for gain,W?ICTs by increasing job autonomy,in turn, increase employee involvement, ultimately promote the increase of employees' innovative behavior; One is the loss path, that is,W?ICTs increases the workload of employees, leads to the generation of job burnout, and thus hinders the generation of innovative behaviors of employees. The results of this study are of positive significance both in theory and in reality. At the theoretical level, the study also found the dual effects of the use of work-related communication tools, avoiding the debate on the results caused by a single impact, and contributing a certain amount of theoretical support for the subsequent related studies.Secondly,at the practical level, innovation behavior is needed by enterprises. The behavior of using work-based communication tools is an inevitable work behavior that enterprises will take in today's society.A full understanding of this behavior can help enterprises redesign their working methods selectively in the actual work process. In order to avoid the reduction of employees' innovative behaviors due to the low work autonomy and excessive work load,at the same time, for the posts and companies requiring high innovation level, how to improve the work autonomy and control the work load within a reasonable range through the design of scientific and reasonable work communication tool usage mode? Therefore, the management and leaders of enterprises need to consider how to improve the work engagement of employees and promote the generation of innovative behaviors.
