A new round reform of basic education curriculum is to promote overall quality education through the comprehensive promotion of quality education. In the stage of compulsory education in physical education, the main task is to cultivate the scientific literacy of all students. The new curriculum calls for the reform of teaching and learning methods. For the revival of China, for the development of each student, the teaching organization form change to be imperative. The traditional class teaching system use unified teaching mode, it is difficult to account for the different needs of students, not really do for all, cause necessarily " gifted students do not have enough to study ". Stratified teaching is a kind of special adapted to individual differences in organizational forms of teaching. Stratified teaching is not only a kind of lower individualization collective teaching form teaching strategy but also a kind of individual differences in teaching mode. But compared with other teaching forms of organization, layered teaching has its unique connotation, its characteristic is fully recognized the development of students personality differences, in pay attention to comprehensive quality of students on the basis of balanced development, to maximize students’ speciality, tap the potential of students, make the teaching process optimization, the comprehensive promotion of quality education.This paper will combine organically study theory, the theory of multiple intelligences, the theory of zone of proximal development and physical teaching theory through experimental analysis method and questionnaire survey research analysis to understand stratified teaching in Jiujiang high school English teaching should, according to the application results analysis proposed the lamination teaching method pay attention to problem in application and to further improve the teaching effect countermeasure and train of thought.
