Research On College Students’ Ecological Moral Quality Training From The Perspective Of Ecological Civilization

With the acceleration of industrialization, environmental pollution and ecological damage have increasingly become an urgent problem to solve for the whole society. After a rational reflection on the contemporary environment crisis, human beings choose a new mode of civilization—“ecological civilization”,which caters for the trend of historical development. Confronted with growing ecological crisis, ecological civilization not merely modifies the harmony between man and nature, but also is a prerequisite for its construction. Meanwhile, it needs the joint effort and consolidation from all parts of the society during the coming construction of ecological civilization. Fundamentally speaking, the ecological awareness and environmental morality should be aware by the whole society. During this process, the significant role that university students play in ecological civilization cannot be ignored. So, in the view of ecological civilization, it is a necessary option for universities to enrich the students’ ecological moral knowledge and cultivate their ecological quality.Taking the view of ecological civilization, the thesis aims to illustrate the need for cultivating the moral quality of contemporary university students in terms of ecology according to the basic theory of ecological civilization and ecological moral quality. The thesis takes five universities as examples and studies exam papers and data combined with the university students’ current ecological quality. At the same time, it puts forward some suggestions and promoting to perfecting the students’ ecological quality system.Nowadays, it is effective to improve students’ ecological moral quality by undertaking such education and enhance the ecological awareness of socialist state. Only if the ecological awareness promoted by the whole society, can we push forward the construction of ecological civilization in China, can we also fulfill the implementation of the scientific outlook and the sustainable development of socialist cause.
