Today’s society, the novel can be said to be the most popular, the most popular with readers in different levels of literary style, because the novel can not only reflect the broad and profound life, but also has the very strong narrative, the easiest way to let the hearts of readers, also the most likely to lead to the students’ interest in reading.But in novel teaching in high school, the situation is not satisfactory.According to the survey found that high school students like reading novels, but don’t like the little practice.Most of the students like reading teaching material outside of the novels, they are turning to network novel, focus on the plot and story.In reading by leaps and bounds, probably just read a novel.They could not judge the stand or fall of literary works, don’t know how to read a novel, more can’t ingenious analysis of the novel, the novel taste ability and aesthetic ability is very low.This paper is divided into three chapters, respectively discusses the several misunderstandings of high school novel teaching, the reason of high school novel teaching into the erroneous zone and the way out of high school novel teaching.Students are not interested in novel teaching, investigate its reason is that there are several pitfalls in high school novel teaching, namely:as the examination site analyzes the teaching focus, ignored the difference of novels and other genres, the novel teaching dismember novels, aerial text, mistakes in teaching content, leading to the literariness of the novel is lost.As a result of the novel teaching these pitfalls, leading to novel teaching boring, students lose interest in novel teaching.The pitfalls of high school novel teaching how to?This article attempts from the teachers to improve their self-cultivation, to establish style consciousness;The reform of the examination and appraisal system;According to the text characteristic, adopt different ways of appreciation;A novel teaching change;Increase the school library resources;Adjust the structure of students reading, widen students read, and other aspects, arouse the enthusiasm of students reading, to improve students’ ability to comment on the novel.
