We should discipline different students with different approaches as teachers and meanwhile try to solve teaching problems after a thorough research and deep consideration. The purpose of education is to cultivate a talented student with many personalities. However, most of the high school teacher may hold a wrong opinion that they want to educate a certain student instead of considering what kind of the student is."Outline of national medium and long term education reform and development plan(2010-2020)" points it out that teachers should care about each student and help students develop in a healthy way. Respect the law of education and the physical and mental development of students. What’s more, teachers should provide appropriate education pattern for each student. According to the theory of Zone of proximaldevelopment, only when teaching corresponds to the theory of Zone of proximaldevelopment will contribute to the sound development of students. And the differences of students decide on the differences of level of development and speed of learning. However, the current pattern of teaching students in a big group will only lead to the development of some students. It can’t meet the standard suggested by the theory. So, here comes the question how we can solve the contradiction between theory and reality. This paper attempts to offer a solution to this problem. In theory, although students differ in the development, the rule can be followed. That is to say, there are general features in the same age. We should make full use of the general features and combine them with individual features. This paper is just based on this principle and put up with the concept of class zone of proximal development and individual zone of proximal development. Stratified teaching is the best teaching mode to combine general features and individuality of students. In reality, I will represent my report as a in-service teacher struggling for master’s degree. Take my two classes as an example, one of them serves as the class for comparison and the other is the experimental class. The classification of the grades of the students in experimental class is clear and I need to take measures to force the cognition of the other class. To reduce the effects of some unnecessary factors, this paper applies the strategy of invisible stratified teaching. Thus, the comparison is scientific and easy to understand. The result of the experiment shows that the invisible stratified teaching based on theory of Zone of proximaldevelopment is of great help to the development of the whole class. It especially has a positive effect on the students with poor performance in study and help them to improve.
