| With thirty years of reform and opening up, tremendous changes have taken place in China’s economy, and people’s living standards have improved dramatically. However, as the material life being improved, all kinds of bad habits and health problems also emerge. To reverse this situation, the CCP and the state government have introduced appropriate policy documents, such as the "National Fitness Program (2011-2015)". Besides, investment in public sports undertakings has also been increased in order to encourage people to participate in physical exercise. However, people’s increasing demand for sports activities cannot be met merely by state financial investment due to the huge population base in a vast territory. Therefore, how to use social forces to increase investment in public sports cause and carry out more physical activities to meet the regional public’s demand for sports activities, improve and enhance the national constitution, have a great significance of the time.Taking Guiyang Amateur Basketball League(2014 to 2015 season)for a study with resorting to literature, questionnaires, interviews, field visits, mathematical statistics and logical analysis, this paper makes an in-deep research, visit and analysis on the current situation of the league, on the basis of which, the merits and progress made by social sports activities as well as existing problems will be deeply analyzed. The conclusions are as follows:1) The threshold of membership fee system should be adjusted so as to change the single league financial source and attract more basketball fans.2)Since the audience is a sign of the maturity of the league, a small amount of spectators and fans will surely affect the league’s popularity and social status; therefore, apart from strengthening media coverage and publicity, some league "star" players should aperiodically be selected and organized to give exhibition match in convenient locations with high visitors flow rate in order to win the audience’s attention and attract fans.3) Although the league is being held wonderfully, social forces concerned are still limited; therefore, the social forces should not only strengthen themselves, but also actively seek for help from the government which will get involved and provide a strong backing for the healthy development of the league.4) The team construction of the judges should be strengthened so as to make a more reasonable age structure.5) Although the league aims to help people exercise more, the irrational playingstyles and incommensurable scores of each game will, to a certain extent, demotivate discourage the athletes, which can easily cause heart disorders for sports; therefore, we should strengthen the training efforts of the coach team and make the game more exciting and more ornamental. |
