With the development of educational informatization, multimedia technology is used more and more widely in high school physics instruction and people pay more attention to the development of multimedia instruction. With the gradual deepening of research on high school physics multimedia instruction, people find many problems, such as the deviation of teachers’ instruction ideas, poor quality of multimedia courseware. They result in the practical effectiveness of multimedia instruction not achieving people’s expectations. The quality of multimedia courseware is an important factor affecting the effectiveness of multimedia instruction, and the design of courseware messages presentation is one of the key factors affecting the quality of courseware. So, through the reasonable design of courseware messages presentation to improve the quality of courseware is an important step which could make high school physics multimedia instruction achieve good instruction effectiveness.The article guided by multimedia learning theory combines the actual situation of high school physics multimedia instruction and treats the design of courseware messages presentation as the main research content and summarizes some design strategies of courseware messages presentation preliminarily applied and discussed in practice. First of all, the article simply introduces the related contents of multimedia courseware and the theory of multimedia learning and analyzes how multimedia learning theory guides the design of high school physics courseware messages presentation. Secondly, the article implements the present situation investigation of high school physics multimedia instruction and design of courseware messages presentation, collects and statistics the views and opinions of students and teachers for high school physics multimedia instruction and design of courseware messages. Then, based on multimedia learning theory and the actual situation of high school physics multimedia instruction, the author sums up some design strategies of courseware messages presentation and preliminary applies the strategies in instruction practice. Finally, the author summarizes the shortcomings of the study and points out the direction for further study.
