A Study Of The Feasibility Of Introducing The E-sport Into The Sports Teaching In Universities Of Henan Province

As the developing of the science and technology, the electronic information techniques has already became a part of our daily life in this informational society. Meanwhile, the sports events are becoming more and more. On November 18 th, 2003, the State General Administration of sports announced the e-sports as the 99 th sports event. Then, e-sport has been known by more and more people and the amount of the participants is gradually increasing year by year. At the same time, the wards that attained by our E-sports athletes in the international matches in recent years show the improving of the level of e-sports in our country. Otherwise, e-sport has also become popular among teenagers. In universities and colleges, more and more students choose the e-sport as one of the way of entertainment which makes the universities and colleges become the places of the most e-sport amateurs. So far, there are 127 universities and colleges in Henan province and over 100, 0000 students which will lay a solid foundation for the development of e-sports. In this paper, the feasibility of introducing e-sports into sports teaching in universities of Henan province will be analyzed through the literature material law, survey method, mathematic statistic method and method of logical analysis etc. The conclusion of the research shows as the following:1. At present, the universities and colleges in Henan province possess the advantages to introduce e-sport in the curriculum of physical education.2. Introducing e-sport into the sport teaching in universities and colleges has a positive effect on the revolution and development of sport teaching.3. E-sport is essentially different from the traditional online games which also have the sports function. But, it is not regarded as a sport by all the people because of the influence of the traditional recognition.4. At present, the activities of e-sport are mainly organized by the students’ association without the management of school. And as the knowledge of e-sport is not known by most of the people, there are misunderstandings about it.5. Some universities and colleges support the idea of introducing e-sports into the sports teaching.6. Colleges and universities in Henan Province setting up electronic sports curriculum meet the needs of reform and development of daily physical education. Moreover, it also plays a positive role in promoting the physical qualities of college students.7. The development of e-sport in universities and colleges has already satisfying the demands of teaching.On the basis of sorting, classifying and analyzing, some advice is put forward:1. Perfect electronic competitive sports in colleges and universities in Henan province propaganda, strengthen the connotation of the electronic competitive sports in colleges and universities in Henan province and the education function of propaganda, make more and more teachers and students truly understand and to know E-sports movement, eliminate the traditional concept of the negative influence of electronic competitive sports in colleges and universities in Henan province2. Sound electronic competitive sports in colleges and universities in Henan province community management, colleges and universities should take the electronic athletic club as a platform, lead teachers to deepen the understanding of electronic competitive sports and help students with a positive attitude to participate in the E-sports movement.3. Universities in Henan province professional electronic competitive sports teachers’ cultivation, conditional can be employed in colleges and universities electronic competitive sports professionals and scholars to academic activities, for E-sports movement course of the most important guarantee.4. Now in Henan university never to open the course, the curriculum should be based on the characteristics and actual situation and combining the university has developed electronic competitive sports club.5. At the beginning of the course, size not too big. E-sports courses should pay close attention to students’ needs, clear teaching purpose and training direction, promote students employment.
