With the progress of modern society, universal fitness activities, the community once start a wave of dance sport. This new trend on college campuses result from its widespread effects of attention in 1987 for the State Education Commission of Physical addition of sports dance courses, some universities have also increased in the physical education sports dance content. Just a few years time to get a rapid development and promotion, to become college students participate in sports activities and cultural activities on campus is another important form.Over the past decade, sports dance, sports colleges and universities in Henan Province has also entered the classroom and developed rapidly. Because dance is a sport "Sports" and "Dance" combines fitness training with a strong communicative value and entertainment features, welcoming for students warmly. However, through research found that the current dance teaching Physical Education in Universities of Henan Province, there are many issues, such as understanding the concept of sports dance, the deviation, resulting in sport dance lessons of teaching objectives, teaching plans, teaching contents, manage of hours and so the lack of scientific and rationality, sport dance teacher with a weak force, and other issues, the study of these issues and thinking is good to sports dance classes in college sports classes to carry out a smooth and efficient. In this paper, from this perspective, college sports for the Henan Province to investigate the status of dance classes, a comprehensive analysis of Henan Province, the content of college sports dance teaching effectiveness, and then come up with strategies, aimed at the development of college sports dance theoretical basis.Sports Colleges and Universities of Henan Province through dance lessons and teaching content to carry out investigation and research, found that there are several aspects:1. Dance Sport, as an emerging sport items, much like students, colleges and universities in Henan Province at present commenced a higher rate of physical education in colleges and universities in Henan Province has become a popular course, and its development trend into the upside.2. At present the vast majority of college students in the teaching of elective courses in sports dance more satisfied with the status quo, but due to fewer hours, the contents of a small, site facilities are not perfect, for students to understand the situation, the quality of teachers conditions and other factors, so that some students want to further enhance the desire to not be satisfied.3. In teaching content, teaching the content of a single common problem, content is not rich, it is difficult to stimulate students interest in sport dance.4. Colleges and Universities in Henan Province at present most of the sports dance teachers from other professions in turn, the teaching force is relatively weak.5. Colleges and Universities in Henan Province is currently no common sports dance classes teaching materials, teachers in colleges and universities are based on relevant information with the actual situation in the school arranged their own actions.6. Most colleges and universities in Henan Province sports dance of the hours elective generally less, resulting in prolonged interval between the two classes, thus affecting the physical dance teaching content on the subject.7. Sports Dance teaching theoretical knowledge is not enough, most schools do not have the theory of sports dance lessons, only a very small number of schools have 1-2 hours of theoretical courses, the lack of theoretical support, the students can not fully understand the inner meaning of sport dance is not conducive to teaching and learning activities running smoothly.8.Approval and evaluation is inadequate.9. Extra-curricular activities are not good enough.This paper on the impact of Henan Province to carry out elective college sports dance and teaching status to propose a solution set of factors: (1) focus on physical ability dance teachers and professional personnel training; (2) improve the venues and facilities; (3) to improve material system ; (4) to increase hours and enrich the teaching content; (5) to strengthen the teaching of theoretical knowledge to enable students to fully understand the connotation of sports dance; (6) increase the propaganda and efforts to improve students interest; (7) to increase the content of supplementary teaching learning ; (8) optimization of student assessment and evaluation system; (9) active in extra-curricular activities, and create a campus atmosphere of dance, art and culture...
