The Application Of Current-affairs Pedagogy In The Course Of “facing Economic Globalization”

The "New Curriculum Standard" requires strengthening the current affairs education in high school political teaching. I used the form of "current affairs broadcast" consciously during the teaching practice, and then found that a lot of educational literature discussed about the "Current-affairs Pedagogy" during the process of resources collection. Thus, I applied this pedagogy in the teaching practice of "Economic Life". This attracted the student’s interest successfully and received good teaching effect. However, when I collected the education literature, I found that although the teachers often use newsletter in teaching to enhance the teaching effectiveness, but the research on this issue is not in depth. Therefore, I choose this topic as my research paper, in order to do a deep and systematic study of this problem.The application of "Current-affairs Pedagogy" in "Economic Life", will not only help us to make up the lagging of the cases on textbook, to attract students’ concern about the hot social issues and to improve their ability to analyze and solve problems, but also help the students to combine the theory and social reality, to enhance their sense of social responsibility, and to develop their positive outlook on life and values.It is hard to explain all of the numerous content of "Economic Life" clearly in one paper. So with the consent of the tutor, this paper focuses on the application of "Current-affairs Pedagogy" in the course "Facing Economic Globalization". On the basis of an overview of Current-affairs Pedagogy, this paper tries to do more detailed analysis and reflection of the application, and puts forward the problems in practice and suggestions for improvement.
