Under The Perspective Of Social Work In Rural Empty Nest Family Community Care Research

China is undergoing a transitional period of aging currently. With the implementing of the birth-control policy since 1980 s, the only-child structure of the generation formed. And people’s ideas changed with the rapid development of economic and social changes. The rural family structure of the central region of China has changed gradually since a lot of young adult went out to work which make a large number of empty-nest families appear. Social welfare policy failed to keep up with this rapid change directly, so that a lot of problems about the aged people appeared.Such as the financial support, the establishment of the nursing home and the elderly care which couldn’t meet the needs of reality. But the emergence of the communitization of the new countryside provided convenient conditions for the intervention of rural social work for the empty-nest elderly care.This text conducted a research on the rural empty-nest elderly care and the intervention of social work on the basis of the above problems. After the problems proposed, the concept of the rural community and empty-nest families of the new countryside has been defined. And this text took the Kan Zhuang village of Nan Yang city of Henan province as the research object and studied the elderly through a period of field and interview. At the same time, this text analyzed the specific problems that exist in the currentrural empty-nest elderly nursing first according to the survey data and reference documents, and then discussed the reason of the problem from the support of family and society, the government policy and the intervention of social work. At last it made some proposals before the complement of the rural communitization and put forward some ideas for the empty-nest elderly nursing in the future with the characteristics of the social work through the study of pros and cons of the rural government policies and family mode for the elderly nursing. This text took the family mode as choice. And take the government as the leading factor to promote social elderly nursing and fully mobilize social support to develop the community elderly nursing though the coexisting time of promoting the rural elderly nursing and exploring the mode of the elderly nursing. Then find a point between the policy and home mode and integrate it into the government policy and home mode by taking advantage of the embedding feature of the intervention of the professional social work. Then find a mixture point for the empty-nest elderly to bring the feature of the connection of the superior resources of social work into the empty-nest families’ elderly nursing and guarantee.
