The “amount of substance” is not only bridge between the macro and micro of high school chemistry but also core of high schoo l chemistry’ calculation. Learning of the “amount of substance” affects the study of entire high school chemistry, the knowledge system is mainly composed of amount of substance, molar mass, the A Fugadero constant, the number of partic les, the amount of substance concentration, molar volume of gas and other concepts. This artic le is in view of the current high school chemistry calculation teaching problems. It is based on a large amount of literature. To analyze the content of high school chemistry’ calculation teaching textbook Compulsory1, and put forward the following teaching strategies: Abstract in an intuitive grams; constructing concept map; to establish the connection between old and new knowledge; To clear the formula connotation, clarify their relationships, and show the problem-solving ideas; The relationship between before and after the chemical reaction and conservation, do varied exerc ises to improve problem-- solving skills. According to the above teaching case about design of teaching strategies I did some teaching practice in two classes of the first grade in Inner Mongo lia Xingan Meng Keyouqianqi No.1 high school. At last I got some meaningful results. As follows:①In the first year of high school chemical calculation teaching, the taking advantage of conservation relationship to carry out variant exerc ises, on the basis of the reference of concept maps and clarify formula connotation, make the students have more comprehensive and clearer understanding of concept and on this basis it will influence the students to have substantive mastery of computing skills when they are learning chemical calculation; it also let the students have a more logical thinking when they do chemical calculation questions, so as to improve the students’ chemical calculation level effectively.②In the first year of high school chemical calculation teaching, the taking advantage of conservation relationship to carry out variant exerc ises, on the basis of the reference of concept maps and clarify formula connotation, improve the students’ problem solving awareness and scientific literacy.③In the first year of high school chemical calculation teaching, the taking advantage of conservation relationship to carry out variant e xerc ises, on the basis of the reference of concept maps and clarify formula connotation, has changed the boring atmosphere of chemical calculation class.In the summary, the imp lementation of the junior high school chemistry calculation teaching strategies can stimulate the students’ interest in chemical calculation. The connotation of the concept of “amount of substance” to deepen the understanding of the core, To enrich the students’ thinking, and to make the boring mechanical calculation more interesting, Students not only enjoy the learning and exploration but also feel the joy of success. Low level students no longer counted chemical learning as the biggest stumbling block; high level students can analysis the problems’ from multi angle. Different levels of students’ problem-solving abilities have been improved in varying degrees by choosing the flexible learning methods and Strategies.
