The reform of new curriculum has been carried out for fifteen years,so that many realized that the key point is teacher. The educational quality of an area depends on the level of professional teaching staff. The opearation of new curriculum is not not a only a reform of the domesticate education, but also an important chance to improve the development of teaching carreer and level of professional teacher. The opearation is related to change of the scheme for entrance examination directly. Inevitably, the professional development of high school teachers in History has faced challenges came from all aspects. In that case, the professional development of teacher in high shooll become a hot spot. Based on the changing tendency of entrance examination, the paper with the questionnaire and statistics of Leping High School of Jiangxi province, try to recover history teacher’challenges that are aroused by the reform of entrance examination and the problems existe in the development of teaching. Only in this way can we obtain the strategy of improving the professional level and cope with the reform of entrance examinaion.This paper can be divided into four parts,The first part is a changing tendency of entrance examination.It includes the pattern, score and knowledge point distribution of NCEE. The tendency of new exam is likely to be---the ocusing on the basic knowledge to test their comprehensive abilities; the addition on the historical materials to close to real life; blending in the new history to add the openness and flexibility of the test. Traditional teaching method of history never uses the new curriculum to pass the NCEE. The teacher needs a change,which a requirement for high school teachers.The second part focuses on the challenges to history teacher according to the new Curriculum. The teaching method of new Curriculum is "people oriented"; New teaching behavior changes according to the test Contents whereas the teaching method changes too; Times is changing, information is upgrading, professional knowledge is developing.The third part is an analysis of professional state of the teachers from Leping High shool Jiangxi Province.The new curriculum put forward many requirements and there are mamy problems in the investigation that is related to the teaching method teaching behavior and professional knowledge.The forth part is the strategy of coping with the development of the profession in history of high school--enhancement of the teachers’self--development consciousenss;analysis of the test paper of NCEE to accelerate the replacement of knowledge operation of the teaching reflection to develop the teaching behavior. Meanwhile, the building of external circumstance which is beneficial to the profession development of history teacher in high shool.The favorable environment that is supported by school or government is helpful in the developing process too.
